Mental Health Advocate
Although mental illness has been a part of my life for a very long time, I was inspired to start this blog after going through a stage of major anxiety and depression in 2016. Writing has helped me release the shame that I once had about my mental health and has become a vital part of my therapy.
Dealing with my mental health has not been easy, but I am deeply grateful for the support I have received from loved ones over the years. I am also thankful that my story has resonated with others and for the encouragement that I have received from readers. My hope is to continue spreading awareness on mental health issues, comfort others who may feel alone, inspire, and educate to challenge the stigma.
